Rune Factory: Oceans

Rune Factory has prospered for five years by taking the Harvest Moon formula and dumping fantasy-action-RPG on top. In latest entry Oceans you while the seasons away by farming, crafting, socializing, romancing, travelling, discovering, and the odd spot of monster killing. Try to do everything in it and you will lose your summer, and no doubt many fans of the series will. The cumulative nature can be compelling as you cultivate friendships, build up your home, and oh so slowly discover the world around you. Sadly, Oceans is so simple and monotonous that its density only highlights what little reason there is to care.
